Cranked-link Transmission Heavy Duty Chains

Heavy duty chain, also known as industrial chain, is a type of chain used in various heavy-duty applications where high strength and durability are required. Chains are designed to transfer power between two or more sprockets by engaging with the teeth on the sprocket.

Cranked-Link Transmission Heavy Duty Chains Advantages:

The advantages of cranked-link transmission heavy duty chains are their extreme wear resistance, high accuracy, fatigue resistance, and specific cranked-link joint structure. It is an ideal choice for work environments involving heavy impact loads and frequent change-overs. This kind of drive chain is commonly used in large machines, mining, and metallurgical industries. They are typically packaged in plywood cases or custom carton boxes.

Offset links, also known as 1/2 links, are typically used when the chain has an odd number of pitches. They are also typically used to shorten the chain by one pitch. Offset links come in single and double-pitch configurations. The single-pitch offset link is furnished with a slip-fit pin that fits into the link plate. The offset link is not recommended for performance-oriented drives.
